What is it?

It's a quick and casual, about 45 min, date over a glass of wine, a cup of latte or an ice cream between two single people. It's an opportunity to test the waters, get to know someone and see if there's any connection. You can customize the location, date & time, age range, etc. Then all you need to do is show up to your own event. We will even include suggested conversation topics to break the ice.

Whether it ends up being a love story for your future children or the funniest story of all time, over 90% of our daters end up with a match. And if you have no match, no worries, your next date is free of charge.

To qualify for compatible blind date you have to:

1. Be within the recommended age bracket.

2. Be looking for a serious relationship.

3. Have a steady income source.

4. Dress business-casual.

How does it work?

After clicking on "schedule my blind date", you will be asked to create a free account if you don’t have one yet. It is very simple and we don’t require your credit card information. If you have one already, just fill in all the information required to set up your own date. .Once you reserve your ticket, we would ask you to provide us with the best mobile contact info for your date to text or e-mail so you could find each other at the date location.

Please arrive 5 min before a scheduled start time so you would have time to locate your date .Please keep your questions simple and casual. The date should take no longer than 45 min. A common fear for people is "What if I run out of the things to talk about?" No worries. We have some fun questions that will keep you busy during the entire date.

What happens after the event/how do I know if we matched?

After your date has ended, please login to your dashboard at www.dateanddash.com and click on "confirm my match" if you liked your date. THAT'S IT!!! It is that simple and easy. A mutual match is if you said "yes" to them and they said "yes" to you. To make sure you do not miss your love connection, we ask that everybody to enter their matches within 48 hours of the event. Ultimately, you can also exchange business cards with each other at the event.

First/Good advice: Although we never had any issues during Date&Dash events in the past, please always use a common sense and be safe while meeting a person for the first time. We ask that you:

1.Do not accept a pick up or a ride to or from your home.

2.Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting. Someone should always know where you are and how to get a hold of you. Have your friend call you while you're on the date to make sure you're okay.

3.Limit the amount of alcohol you drink on a first date. You need to have your cognitive abilities to make decisions. Keep your glass within your sights.
