What is a blind date event?
It’s a quick and casual, about 45 min date over a cup of latte between two people who have the followings things in common but have not seen each other. It’s an opportunity to test the waters, get to know someone and see if there's any connection. We do all the work for you picking the place, time and matching you, all you need to do is show up. 
Whether it ends up being a love story for your future children or the funniest story of all time, over 90% of our daters end up with a match. And if you have no match, no worries, your next date is free of charge. 
The date and time is conveniently set up so you could meet up right after work. 

To qualify for compatible blind date you have to:

1. Be within the recommended age bracket. 
2. Have a steady income source. 
3. Be outgoing and active. 

How does it work?

Once you reserve your tickets, you and your date will have an opportunity to contact each other. 
Please arrive about 5 min before a scheduled start time. 
Then you would locate your date. 
Please keep your questions simple and casual. The date should take no longer than 45 min. 
A common fear for people is ”What if I run out of the things to talk about?” No worries. We have some fun questions that will keep you busy during the entire date.

What happens after the event/how do I know if we matched?

After your date has ended, please login www.dateanddash.com and click on "my matches". 
You will then enter your "yes" or “no” answer into our automated matching system. A mutual match is if you said "yes" to them and they said "yes" to you. To make sure you do not miss your love connection, we ask that everybody to enter their matches within 48 hours of the event. Ultimately, you can also exchange business cards with each other at the event.

Safety First/Good advice:

We provide a safe meeting and fun experience, and we never had any issues during datenaddash events/blind dates in the past, although, please always use a common sense and be safe while meeting a person for the first time. 
We ask that you: 
1. Do not accept a pick up or a ride to or from your home. 
2.Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting. Someone should always know where you are and how to get a hold of you. Have your friend call you while you're on the date to make sure you're okay. 
3.Limit the amount of alcohol you drink on a first date. You need to have your cognitive abilities to make decisions. Keep your glass within your sights. 
4.The objective here is to have fun and meet that special someone in a safe and fun environment.
